On August 1st, 2014, the Italian Senate gave the final vote on the reform-bill of the Italian Development Cooperation, which comes 27 years after the former law.
With the new law in full force, the Italian Cooperation is improved by providing it of three new instruments:
an Agency for Cooperation;
a Financial Institution for Development;
one ad-hoc vice-ministry for cooperation, with a clear and strong political mandate.
